Caravan Towing
Towing solutions offer caravan towing lessons to ensure you drive with confidence and competence. The course is delivered on a one-to-one basis and covers all the off-road elements as well as taking you out on the road where the instructor will guide you through exercises such as snaking, instability control and positioning yourself safely at junctions and roundabouts, driving on the motorway, narrow roads and country lanes.

Whether you are going away for the weekend or touring the country, knowing your towing law and feeling confident in manoeuvring your caravan will enable you to arrive safely and enjoyably.
We all know towing caravans can be a stressful experience. It is not just the manoeuvring and reversing of the caravan itself, but the experience of driving on motorways and highways that can leave you exhausted and on edge at the end of your journey. We don’t believe it has to be like this. Our job is to ensure you drive with confidence and competence and arrive at your destination relaxed and ready to enjoy your time away.
Designed For
All caravan owners – whether you are new to caravanning and need to learn the practical and legal aspects of towing or if you are already experienced in towing caravans, but want to refresh your skills or target certain areas such as reversing (into those hook up areas!) with confidence.
The course includes off-road exercises as well as on-road towing training and is delivered on a one-to-one basis. AM or PM sessions available.
Our courses are designed to suit you and while we provide a structured course for you to follow, if you need to focus on a particular area, we are happy to factor these requirements into the training.
Summary
This is a hands-on, practical driving course which you can take using your own caravan and car. If you don’t have a caravan yet or want some experience of towing before taking the plunge, Towing Solutions has a caravan you can use as well as a vehicle available for hire if needed.
So if you want to negotiate roads and junctions without stress, reverse with confidence and be clear about relevant towing law, this is the course for you.
4 hour course for 1 person – £186 using your own car and our caravan or £222 using our car and caravan
5 hour course for 2 people – £330 using your own car and our caravan or £374 using our car and caravan
We have caravans available for you to use for your training and vehicles to hire if required. Delegates will meet one of our instructors here in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

On Completion
After completing your Caravan Towing Course, you’ll receive an email with your Certificate of Attendance and an e-copy document that includes key details from your training session — plus some bonus top tips to help you enjoy safe, confident driving and manoeuvring.
