With the rapid growth of electric and hybrid vehicle usage across commercial fleets and public sector operations, it’s essential that your team is trained in the safe, efficient and compliant use of EV and hybrid vehicles.
This IMI-accredited training course helps to prevent accidents, reduce vehicle damage, and ensure your staff are safe when driving or working around company vehicles. Delegates gain practical understanding of the unique safety considerations and operational differences when using EVs and hybrids — without any trailer use.

Course Information
Courses are available as either a full-day session (7 hours) or half-day session (4 hours) depending on your team’s requirements. Training takes place at our IMI-approved centre in Cheshire, or we can deliver the course at your site (subject to suitable facilities and travel costs).
Delegate numbers are based on the number of passengers your training vehicle can safely accommodate, ensuring each participant receives meaningful hands-on experience and driver safety guidance.

On completion
On successful completion of this course, delegates will receive an IMI-recognised Certificate of Completion, issued by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).
This certification demonstrates that you have completed industry-approved training in EV and Hybrid Vehicle operation and safety, delivered by an IMI Approved Centre.
