Trailer Safety & Awareness is an NTTA (National Trailer and Towing Association) certificated training course which is designed to help prevent accidents and promote safety awareness when using trailers at work.

Trailer Safety, Towing and Driver Checks
Trailer safety plays an integral part in today’s working environment. Towing trailers, caravans or mobile plant demands hazard awareness, safe practice, driving competence and knowledge of the trailer law.
Designed For
All operatives and people who need to tow trailers, mobile plant, exhibition units, hospitality units, catering trailers i.e. for their work. e.g. Council and utilities personnel, civil engineers, landscape contractors, builders, exhibition demonstrators etc. Aimed to improve your employees’ trailer safety awareness and manoeuvring skills.
Summary
Full day course incorporating pre-towing inspection routine, hazard awareness, reversing skills, coupling up, on-road towing training, relevant towing law and health & safety legislation.
Designed to build confidence and help you and your staff be competent and safe when towing trailers.
This is a very useful, practical, ‘hands-on’ trailer driving course with interactive exercises using vehicles and trailers to develop the key skills required to check, operate, manoeuvre and tow safely within the law.
All delegates will receive an understanding of the importance of pre-towing trailer checks, reversing and health & safety issues when using trailers. Towing Solutions provides course notes for theory on the day and to use as references in the future.
Half-day course (4 hours) – £171 + VAT per delegate (£30 + VAT car hire if required)
Full-day course (7 hours) – £270 + VAT per delegate (£60 + VAT car hire if required)
**Full-day course only includes on-road towing training**
We have a vehicle available to hire if needed and we can provide a trailer for the training unless you would like to use your own equipment. Maximum 3 delegates per course as on a full day, delegates will go out on the road together to undergo the on-road towing practice. If using your own vehicle, we would need to know how many people could sit in it comfortably.
NB: Depending on delegate numbers and facilities, this course can be delivered on-site at the delegate’s premises – please enquire. Travel costs may occur.
On Completion
Delegates will receive by email an industry-recognised NTTA certificate and an e-copy document containing details from the training session as well as some bonus top tips.
