Towing Awareness for Management
As a general rule you are required by European and UK law to use a tachograph if you are operating a vehicle or vehicle and trailer that has a combined plate weight of 3500kg or above. There are exemptions for certain categories of driver and types of activity.
Designed For
Team leaders, safety officers, supervisors and managers who have responsibility within organisations for trailers and mobile plant together with the staff who operate them.
Summary
This is a predominantly theory based course with interactive exercises using vehicles and trailers to develop the key skills required to check, operate, manoeuvre and tow safely within the law.
On successful completion, each delegate will receive an industry recognised NTTA certificate.
NB: Dependent on delegate numbers and facilities, this course can be delivered on-site at the delegates premises. Travel costs may occur.
